This is an absolutely awesome resource about the beloved Little Rascals. Full disclosure: “Waldo” was my dad! Back in the heyday of the Our Gang troupe, Dad was privileged to play the nerdish Waldo in 22 episodes, along with Alfalfa, Spanky, Darla, and Buckwheat. He always treasured those three years with such talented kids. A huge thank you to Maltin, whose impeccable reporting includes details about every single episode as well as bios about all the stars. When I decided to write my own dad’s bio seven years after his passing, I drew upon the painstaking reporting in this wonderful book. Truly a classic.
